Electric Bike Technologies, Inc. CEO, Jason Kraft visited The ONE Show with Greg Gutfeld on the one-hour podcast. Jason talked about how Electric Bike Technologies has donated 10 electric bikes to children with a painful, neuromuscular condition called SMA. This condition is a group of symptoms that cause pain and motor weakness in the arms and legs.

Mr. Jason also talks about why they have chosen to donate these bikes instead of giving money to charity, which would seem kind of counter-productive since charity is supposed to help someone in need, but somehow Electric Bike Technologies decided to do both at the same time.
After the interview, Mr. Jason delivered the ten e-bikes to the charity through his company’s website. I was impressed by the amount of thought that went into this event Electric Bike Conversion Kit. From the website, it is clear that Electric Bike Technologies wants to help make electric bikes more accessible to the common public, and we can all benefit from this.
However, because of the patent laws, the donation cannot be free, so the company has donated the proceeds from the sales of the electric bikes to charity. Now I’m not sure if the charity plans to take these 10 e-bikes (which they have ordered), or if they are just going to give them to someone who is in need, but either way, it is good that they are doing something to help people.
There are other electric bike conversion kits that also help the charity, but I am not aware of them. The e-bike that Electric Bike Technologies donated has a standard bike frame and a fork, while the other kits have their own motor, which will probably be a front-wheel-drive electric bike conversion kit.
It is unknown whether or not the charity will actually use the donated electric bike, but they are taking it off of their hands and giving it away. If you know of an electric bike conversion kit that you would like to donate, then you should contact the person who designs it, or the charity that it goes to, and see if you can come up with a solution. You may be able to get a front-wheel-drive electric bike kit, and get a tax write off too!
